Bright and earthy with flavors like ripe fig and sweet tobacco

Despite the ubiquity of coffee growing in Burundi,
each smallholder produces a relatively small harvest.
The average smallholder has approximately 250 trees,
normally in their backyards. Each tree yields roughly 4lbs of coffee cherries.

Yandaro is the name of the hill upon which this community
grows their coffee trees, as well as the local river that meanders
to the Congo Nile. The source of the river, which is used for
washing process, is beautiful dormant cinder cone Mount Mugongo.
