Mr Lopez's story is a specialty coffee success story. He founded his farm in 1977, initially selling to local buyers for low prices. With the onset of better harvesting and processing practices, his farm began producing high quality coffees able to catch a better price point. "My family and my quality of life has improved, I have been able to improve my farm." This is how we think the coffee industry should be. Producers create a quality product, we just maintain it's potential.
