Fear the Sunset - A Coffee/Beer Collaboration with Kings County Brewer's Collective
KCBC is a top tier local Bushwick, NY brewery that we've worked with on several beer projects in the past. Fear The Sunset is an otherworldly sweet bomb brewed with coconut, coffee, roasted hazelnut, and vanilla. The final product is an experience - beginning with coconut and ending with coffee aromatics, white hitting all of the other ingredients between.
We cupped a lot of coffees before we settled on two that we thought would compliment a heavy-bodied, high ABV flavor bomb. In the end we chose Guayabales from Antigua, Guatemala for its chocolate and strong aromatics and El Aguilar from Intibuca, Honduras for its fruit driven acidity.
This one is only available at the brewery, all the more reason to make a trip.
